Vineyard information: Made with grapes from old vineyards, located between 1,150 and 1,300 meters above sea level. Alluvial soil with a rock foundation and top layers of sand-textured earth.

Production: Flow by gravity (without using pumps). Cold maceration (6 days at 7°C). Fermentation for 25 days in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation is natural and completed in barrels.

Aging: 12 months in French oak barrels (50%) and in stainless steel tanks (50%)

Aging potential: 8 years

Colour: Brilliant dark red with purple hints

Aroma: Violets, blackberries and grapes. Subtle notes of coffee and tobacco

Mouth: Concentrated, voluptuous, structured by tannins, smooth, intense and elegant

In the Uco Valley, in the district of San José of Tupungato, on Route 86, famously known as the “Ruta del Vino” or “Wine Route”, appears the “Atamisque” estate. At the entrance, a grove of poplars welcomes visitors. The main entry is behind a stone wall. Here, one can grasp entirely the rich diversity of this philosophically interesting project. The owners John and Chantal Du Monceau invite you to discover and to enjoy the harmony between leisure, recreation and the sound of nature.
