Vineyard information: 1,100 to 1,300 meters above sea level. Alluvial soil with a rock foundation and top layers of sand-textured earth.
Production: Flow by gravity (without using pumps). Cold maceration (6 days at 7°C). Fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks
Aging: 100% in new French oak barrels (Taransaud) for 16 months
Aging potential: 15 years
Colour: Intense red with purple hints
Aroma: Delicate but intense. With floral notes (violets) and red fruit jam, slightly spiced, with vanilla and chocolate hints
Mouth: Stunning, balanced, elegant. Red fruits (strawberries, forest fruits), black pepper in perfect balance, coffee, hazelnuts. Unctuous, tannins of smooth texture, a long and superb finish in the palate.
