Elaboration
1- Cold maceration for 8 days at 6ºC
2- Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts, with 4
daily pumpovers for 20 days at 25ºC – 27ºC.
3- Malolactic fermentation in French oak of second and third use.
4- Aging for 6 months in French oak.

This wine has not undergone any chemical treatment or
physical. Stabilization is natural to preserve all the
natural characteristics of the grape. It has not been filtered so
It may contain some sediment. It is recommended to decant
before serving.
The nose is intense and aromas of berries are found
ripe (blackberries, cassis and cherries) with attractive touches
spiced In the mouth its tannic attack is pleasant and good
intensity. One of the most important features is seen
expressed in the softness of well-ripe tannins
amalgamated with the fruit.

Description

Durigutti Family winemakers

Hector and Pablo were born in Mendoza, the cradle of wine and were raised together. Their childhood and their home were always connected to a sensorial world, with aromas, ingredients and flavors that, over time, motivated them to choose the path to become enologists. As adults, they would find these familiar memories and similar passions. Since 2002 they have been dedicated to their project as a small family winey. Today the brothers have evolved to form the new generation of winemakers, leading an evolutionary change in Argentina’s viticulture. With that same spirit, the Durigutti brothers craft their wines and have started to write their own history, a family legacy, in a chosen place where they live and work daily with dedication.

The winery is located in the heart of Lujan de Cuyo, precisely in the district of Las Compuertas. This is one of the regions with rich tradition and antiquity for the production of high-quality wines in Argentina.  From here, the first Malbec of Argentina were made. This micro region is in the processes of reassessing the value of its prized centennial vines.

Diverse optimal soils for making high quality wines are found at the base of the mountainous range of the Andes.  Since the start of the family project, they have passionately dedicated to the study of soils, becoming specialists in understanding the terroir.

The wines express the essence of each origin, coming from the main grape production regions: Altamira, Gualtallary, Vista Flores and La Consulta in Uco Valley.  Agrelo, Pedriel, Vistalba and Las Compuertas in Lujan de Cuyo. Additionally, they source grape varieties from the different regions to supply the line of federal wines.  These grapes come from Cafayate, Salta; Fiambalá, Catamarca; Famatina, La Rioja; Pedernal, San Juan; Alto Valle de Rio Negro and San Patricio del Chañar, Neuquén.

With vast understanding and dedicated experience when making the emblematic red variety, Malbec, and the optimism of reclaiming the Bonarda, they also process Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cordisco, Criolla Parral, Chardonnay, Viognier and Torrontés.
